We’re Bringing Cash Back to Dig

Many months ago, we made the decision to move to a cashless system. We did this in restaurants where 8% or less of the transactions were in cash, where we felt that moving to cashless would help protect the safety of our employees and provide a more seamless experience for our guests.

We were wrong.

Moving to a cashless system was a mistake. It ignored the systemic inequities that exist in our financial system and didn’t live up to our mission to build a better food system for everyone

Over the next few months, we’ll be shifting these restaurants back to accept cash.
